How does an enrobing machine work?

3

The chocolate enrobing machine is a type of food processing equipment used to coat a product with a thin layer of chocolate, sugar, or other coating. The process typically involves two parts: depositing the coating material onto the product and then cooling it until it reaches its desired state. The chocolate enrobing machine deposits the coating material from either an overhead hopper or from pumps that are connected to tanks containing the liquid or paste-like material. A conveyor belt moves the product through the machine while showering it with coating material using various application devices such as rollers, spray nozzles, scrapers etc. After passing through this stage, the coated product enters into a cooling tunnel where it hardens and sets in place before being packaged for sale.
